As a Dad to 2 amazing kids if I pass through this life without doing my bit to honour that vision, I reckon that would be a crying shame. How about you?

So how can one Mojo WellBeing make a difference? I’ve started in my own backyard and with a really simple principle taught to me by one of my kids.

The 3 R’s. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce. It’s insanely simple, yet incredibly powerful. More on that over the next few days, weeks, months and years.

Regarding holistic WellBeing, over the last few years I have experienced some challenging circumstances which I would not wish on anyone. My recovery, which has not been linear, has had its ups and downs. A bit like “Bike Packing” through the Molesworth in Aotearoa.

I should also emphasise that my experience of “recovery” is that it has been a never ending journey and it’s OK that there is no destination.

There has been no silver bullet to support my recovery and at times it has seemed hopeless but one thing is certain and it has been happening since the dawn of time. The sun will come up tomorrow and it’s a beautiful thing!

As part of my recovery I had 2 admissions to South Pacific Private Hospital. It was here the universe bumped me into Tom Carroll. Funny how it does that…for the low down on that wee story you will have to listen to the full S2 E1 Tom Carroll Podcast Episode.

I have now realised that this painful journey has been my gift because sometimes you have to breakdown to break through.

I will be sharing some of my story of recovery and if it inspires one beautiful human being to hang in there, connect with the M(We)1 and hopefully thrive on this amazing planet then happy days. So how do we move from merely surviving, to thriving…

1 Breath, 1 Step, 1K, 1 Day @ a time.

MojoFloBro Goatman

"The best thing you can do for your mental health mate is a bike and a tent."

The infamous Goat man on the right. My brother from another Mother. The inspiration for “Forrest Gump on a Bike.”

More on that story later.
